Shopping!
Boy do I love to shop when I have the money. Today I went to Bath and Body Works to spend my Gift Card. I bought 2 bottles of body splash... Cucumber melon and Blushing Cherry Blossoms. Matching body lotion and then Cucumber Melon bath wash. I also went to Pat Catans which is a local scrap store and bought a 12x12 unfinshed frame that I am currently trying my hand at Crackle medium and antiguing it. I will use it to display some of my favorite layouts as I do them. I also bought some Bazzill cardstock, acrylic paint, adhesive dots and pop dots, and a package of Bazzill Stitches templates. I got the floral ones. I can't wait to give them a try. I also went to the warehouse club and got a book. "The Ruins". I can't wait to start reading it. I was going to do that today but instead I watched disk two season one of beauty and the beast. I am addicted. I am going to buy season two with my mileage money that I will get from work in a few weeks. Well DD will be home any minute and want to go outside to play, so off of here I go. I will post my finished frame when it is done. Brightest Blessings!

Happy Belated Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there. Hope you all had a wonderful one. I know I did. DH got me a gorgeous JFK Rose that I absolutely love. The blooms on it are just huge. Never have I seen a bloom that big before on a JFK Rose plant. My son and his fiance got me a gift card for bath and body works. I am so excited. I haven't pampered myself with anything from that place in years, and DH also bought me season one of Beauty and the Beast. Not sure how many of you remember that from the late '80's. I think I am showing my age. :) I started watching it when I got home Friday evening from work, and it was like visiting an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. It was so relaxing and comforting. I didn't scrap at all this weekend except to get mother's day cards done for my mom and his. Both loved there cards as usual. I think they are expecting this now. :) I did work on my DD's birthday layouts to get them done for my DT assignement for the wishblading well. I need to get it uploaded and added to my slide show yet, but it is done. Now on to finish up a swap that I am hostessing that is due June 1st. Usually I am already done, but I picked up quite a few empty spots to fill it up, and i need to finish the Harry Potter group and the ancient Gods/Goddesses group. Luckily there are only two that i have to make in the second group. I am waiting for the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to completely dry before I move forward with the two goddess monograms. I sued my embossing heat gun to dry it this time and man is it gorgeous. I usually let it air dry, but a lady on Lifetime moments suggested the heat drier and it comes out so much more beautiful and glimmery. I will have to keep this in mind. I love the glimmer mist. I am very big into bling now and I use that or Doodlebug sugar coating on most all of my layouts and projects. Hope bling never goes out of style at least not anytime soon. I have just so much of both items right now as well as rhinestones. I just ordered 3 more bottles of the tattered angels glimmer mist and i can't wait to get it. Well off I go. Need to look at these items and see what i can come up with. Brightest Blessings Everyone!

Scrap Room Photos are up
Well I managed to figure out how to have a nice slideshow. I have two now. One has my current projects and the other has my Scrapbooking Room Photos. The room is an enclosed back porch that is used year around for my scrapping. I have been working for over a year to get it just right and my embellishments just right as well. Today I worked on some organizing and I did do a layout using some of the Nesting Shapes from The Wishblading Well. The layout is Little Lady and is a picture of my grandaughter Chloe. I love the combination of Browns and Pinks. I think by far that is my favorite combination to use when scrapping. I have a daughter and a granddaughter that I scrap alot so I primarily use pink. Well I need to end this post. My DH is home and I am into my first glass of Passion Fruit Margarita and I am feeling the effects just a tad here. Have a good evening and Brightest Blessings to Everyone!
Scraproom reorganization
OK i am having trouble with pics on here, so I will have to try something new. I just completed the 4th layout for my DT assignment. I will post a pic of it as soon as I can figure out what is going on. I will also post some pics of my scrapbooking space. I went through and reorganised it today and rearranged a few things to better suit me.

Blog Times
Wow are the times off on this blog. I swear I have it set for my time zone, but the last post I published was at 1:38 pm not 10:38 am. I guess I will have to go back and see if I can fix that problem.
Monday
Well another weekend is over and Monday is here. I scrapped a little today. I did a Pirates of the Caribbean themed layout for a NSD Challenge on Lifetime Moments.com I used my Silhouette to cut the QK Pirate Ship, dubloons, and swords. I had fun creating this layout. I had pictures that I wanted to scrap, just not sure how to do it, and these were the perfect files for it.

TGIF
Well National Scrapbooking Day is almost upon us and I am so excited. I got a layout done today for my DT Assignments. 3 down only 2 more to go! These are hard ones as I am not much of a shape person on layouts, so it takes a lot of thought to use the files from their nesting buckets. Really if you have a digital cutter you should give The Wishblading Well a try. Their prices are awesome especially for the number of files and the detail in those files. I have pretty much stopped using other files unless they do not have what I need. I will get this layout posted As soon as possible. I have other plans for this layout if it is ok with the owners of the WBW. I sewed on this layout and love how it came out. I am slowly learning how to sew. My thing is keepign a straight line. My mom tells me not to worry about straight lines, but I have to when sewing on paper. People see those lines. Oh well. I am adding a picture of my newest poem box. Goes with the Flower Fairies Book that I own. I love it, and I would like to use it as wall art in my scraproom if possible.
